Welcome to Powell History and A First History for Adults™!

If you're interested in learning history, but don't know how to get started, join us for
Invitation to History, the first ever Objectivist infomercial! In this lecture, historian
Scott Powell will introduce his three-part curriculum on the history of Western civilization,
designed specifically for adults! Mr. Powell will discuss the unique challenges involved in
trying to learn history as an Objectivist and professional adult, and how he has created a
specially designed lecture series to present the story of the past in a comprehensive and
yet accessible form.

IMPORTANT Scheduling Changes!

Two separate sessions of Invitation to History will run on Thursday, Feb.23 at 5:00 p.m.
(Pacific Time) and Sunday, Feb.26 at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). The Friday session
has been cancelled. The Sunday session has be moved up from 1:00 p.m. to accomodate
the live presentation of the event to the San Diego "Collective" (Contact Frode Odegard
for event details.)

Cost

This one hour lecture is free to any caller or groups of callers. The only cost is callers'
long-distance costs to a number in the United States.
